Indian Coast Guard ( Ministry of Defence ) is the Armed Force of India. It operates under the Ministry of Defence. It protects India's maritime interests and enforces maritime law, with jurisdiction over the territorial waters of India, including its contiguous zone and exclusive economic zone. ICG Assistant Commandant Result 2016:-

The Ministry of defence is recently going to recruiting new candidate in the year of 2016-2017. All the interested candidates can join these vacant posts. Result will be declared soon by the Defence Ministry of India. It was formally established on 18 August 1978 of the parliament of India as an Independent Armed force of India. The establishment was first proposed by the Indian navy to provide non-military maritime services to the nation. The application form is free for all the category ( Genreral, OBC, SC/ST). The selection of the candidate will be based on the higher percentage of marks in the qualifying examination and qualify cut off for a particular branch.

Indian Coast Guard 01/2017 Batch Result:-

All the candidates should make that they meet all the important requirements for this service. All the candidate should have their valid proof and original certificates. The result will be released very soon and it will be uploaded on the official website. The eligibility criteria for this post is :-

• Age limit of the candidate:- The candidate must be born in between 01 July 1992 to 30 June 1996. The reserved category candidate will get benefit from the government. They get some relaxation in the age limit for the various government jobs.
• Educational qualification:-  All the posts have different qualification criterias which are as follows :-

1. General duty and General duty (pilot) :- The candidates must have bachelor degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and degree should be from the recognized university and institution.
2. Technical Branch ( Mechanical and Electrical ):- The candidate must have their engineering degree with minimum 60% marks and should have passed section A and section B examination from the recognized university and institution.
3. Pilots :- The candidate must have passed 12th standard with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and should posses current valid commercial pilot license ( CPL) issued/validated by DGCA.
4. General Duty Women :-  All the women must have their bachelor degree with minimum 60% marks and maths and physics are compulsory subject for these posts. candidate must pass in maths and physics with minimum 60% marks.

For Engineering Branch:- Naval Architecture or Mechanical or Marineor Automative or Mechatronics or Industrial and Production or Metallurgy or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace.

For Electrical Branch :- Electrical and Electronics or Telecommunication or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Power Engg. or Power Electronics.

If the Defense ministry found any faults like submission of wrong information, educational qualification, age limit, or any false the candidate is rejected by the Defense ministry.
