Child development is a great issue in our country India. Today we are going to show the Child Development Index. A report that was done by two persons Reetika Khera and Jean Dreze. Reetika Khera is a development economist and teaches in IIT-Delhi and Jean Dreze is also a development economist. The report was published on the official site of NDTV. In that report both they reported Indian States in Term Of Child Development. In the list Kerala is on top which means this state focuses more on Child Education and Development.
They used the data of National Family Health Survey & Rapid Survey On Children 2013-14. These were the key indicators to complete the index of Child Development :-
Proportion of children aged 12-23 months who are fully immunized
Female leteracy rate. age 10-14*
Proportion of births preceded by health checkup
Proportion of children below age 5 who are not underweight
These were the key indicators of the index. They compared the result of these points in 2005-06 with 2013-14. After comparing these factors they produced the Child Development Index.

You can see which state is on which position in this list. Kerala, Himachal Pradesh and Tamil Nadu are at top in the list of top states in term of Child Development. Most of the states are focusing more on this thing and some are losing interest in Child Development. Today India is focusing more on economic state of it’s not on the child development. We are not saying this at all but the report says this. We can clearly see this that the child development of most of the states decreased with a very high speed. It should not be happen.
