15 August Speech for Teachers :-

"Good morning to the Honorable and respected chief guest of the day, students, parents and teachers.

We all know the reason why we are here today. I am feeling proud to say that today we are celebrating our 70th Independence day. It has been 70 years of our independent. As you all know that our country got the freedom on 15th August, 1947. I am feeling proud to get a chance to say something about this in front of you. After the independence Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru shared his feelings in front of the whole country. On this day where all the people across the world were busy doing their daily jobs, our people were waking up from the British rule that was ruling us for a long time. You can see now India is one of the largest democratic country in the world. It is rising day by day and we are famous for our traditions and cultures. We faced so many big problems but every time we conquered them.

There were so many freedom fighters who helped our nation to be independent. Today what we are, it's all because of our forefathers, who fought for our nation and left the message that we are never gonna (going to) give up. Because of the hard work and struggle by those freedom fighters we are living this type of independent life. It's very hard to tell all the names of those but we are not going to forget them. We will remember them through the history till our death. Getting the freedom from the Britishers was never a possible task, only our Country's heroes made that impossible task possible. We Indians are famous for our unity and we are never going to break this unity. We were together, we are together and we will together till the existence of the world.

There are many names in the list of the Indian heroes who helped us to become what we are today and what we will be tomorrow but I am not going to take any name because we knew only few of them but they were not the only who fought for the nation there are many unknown names and the persons whose efforts brought the independence. They sacrificed their lives for the freedom and the prosperity of our nation. I salute them. We should maintain this unity all the time so that no one can ever break our nation and rule once again.

We must take an oath that we will become responsible citizen of our country and will never break the rules, we should take oath of being a true Indian who will help it's people and run a democratic nation.

Jai Hind !!"

You can give this above speech in the school or can select any lines from this. We can say that this is a 15 August Essay for Teachers

Independence Day Speech for Teachers :-

"Happy 70th Independence day to honorable chief guest, all the respected teachers and my dear students.

We are here to celebrate our 70th Independence day. On this special occasion I salute to all the freedom fighters who died in the war against the Britishers. We all celebrate this day with lots of joy and happiness. This independence took place only because of those heroes of India who fought till the last breathe and only because of their great efforts and hard work we are celebrating here our 70th Independence day.

There were too many heroes of India who fought for our nation, some of them are Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Raaj Guru, Lala Lajpat Rai, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Lokmanya Balgangadhar Tilak, Moulana Abul Kalam Azad, , Gopal Krishna Gokhale etc. These are just few names of them. But the heroes were in thousands. They fought till their death. Most of them were killed by the Britishers.

All across the country there are lots of people who are celebrating this occasion and remembering the heroes. Their efforts brought India to a whole new level and you all are very well known to the truth that today our country is one of the leading democratic country in the whole world. Lots of people are working day and night for their nation. We too are the part of our nation, we should too serve our country. It's not necessary that we have to join army, air force or police department to serve it, we can do many things to support our country. We can be a civilized person by doing moral things that support the nation and in every country the support of the common people is as much important as the support of government. So for the sake of our nation we take an oath that by today we are going to help our nation by doing our moral support and work.

Vande Mataram !"

These two are Independence Day Speech for Teachers in English. Teachers of any schools and colleges can give any of these speeches. They can also add something of their own. On the day of 15th August, every year all the Indians celebrate this day and hoist the national flag of our country. This tradition started when after the independence Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru became the first prime minister of India and hoisted the flag of our country at the Red Fort, Delhi. Then after that every year the prime minister of our country raises the flag at Red Fort. This year our prime minister Narendra Damodardas Modi is going to raise our national flag. Parades, march, salute by 21 guns these are the part of the ceremony. This will happen in many parts of the country.
