CGPSC is commonly known as Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission.The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission was established on 23rd May 2001 under the provision of Act 315 of the Constitution of India. The state of Chhattisgarh is came into existence on 1st November 2000 under the re-organisation of Madhya Pradesh.
The primary functions of this Commission are to conduct examinations for the appointments in the state and also advise the state government on all matters related to state civil service, eligibility, transfer and promotions. Now this commission is back with Chhattisgarh PSC AE Notification against Advt No. 06/2016 to recruit 107 vacancies of Assistant Engineer posts which include Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers and Agriculture Engineer posts.Syllabus For Chhattisgarh Engineering Exam 2016
Candidates who wish to apply for this CGPSC Recruitment 2016, have to pay theapplication fee of Rs. 400/- for general candidates and Rs. 300/- for reserved candidates. Aspirants who selected in this Chhattisgarh State Engineering Services Exam 2016 will get the pay scale of Rs. 15600/- to Rs. 39100/- with grade pay of Rs. 5400/- per month.

Educational Qualification:
Candidate who want to apply for this exam should have passed Bachelor Degree In Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Agriculture stream from an authorised Unversity by central government.
Age Limitation:
Candidate who want to apply for this exam must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years.Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/ESM/PWD as per the government rules. The selection process of applicants will be done on merit based on written test and interview. CGPSC Engineering Service Exam Pattern:
The Chattisgarh Publis Service Commission (CGPSC) Conducts this exam for the various posts.This exam will be held in two phases.Paper I and Paper II
Paper I General Study
This exam pattern will consists of Mutiple Choice Questions.Paper I will contain 150 questions at all and there would be 2 marks for every right answer.So Paper I will carry a total of 300 marks.Time duration to complete this paper will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Paper II Engineering
This Paper will also consist of Multiple Choice Questions and every question will carry 2 marks.This exam have 4 choices of subjects according to which your exam will be held.You would have to select the post while you were applying for the post.You have Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural- 4 choices among which you have to select one.This paper will also consists of 150 marks and the total marks this exam will carry are 300.Time duration to complete this exam will also be 2 hours and 30 minutes.
