IIT JEE Main And Advance Exam Syllabus 2017-2017 Exam Pattern, Eligibility

Competition is very high for this exam, every year a large number of candidates appear to this exam. First of all, candidates should prepare for this exam as per officially prescribed syllabus. Candidates should gather the best study materials for preparation. Also including previous years question papers in study material will get them familiar with the exam pattern and questions weightage.

Syllabus For JEE Main And Advance 2016-2017

You should also have a look on the JEE exam pattern.The JEE Main 2017 exam will be comprises two papers i.e. paper 1 (for engineering) and paper 2 (for architecture). The Paper 1 will consist of total 90 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. The Paper 2 will comprise in total 82 questions out of which 30 questions from mathematics, 50 questions from aptitude test and 2 questions of drawing test.There would be a penalty for each wrong answer.So mark in the OMR sheet only at those answers about which you are sure.Candidates would have only two attempts to apply for this exam.

Candidates who want to apply for this exam should have the following eligibility:

candidate’s date of birth should fall on or after 01 October, 1992 for general candidates and 01, October 1987 for SC, ST and PwD candidates.
Candidates must have passed their 12th or equivalent exam in 2015 or 2016 are eligible to apply.
Candidates appearing 12th or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply.
Candidates are required to score minimum 50% marks in aggregation of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Candidates who have passed 12th or equivalent exam in 2014 are not eligible to apply.
Aspirants should have minimum five subjects in 12th/qualifying examination.
A candidate can attempt for this exam for only three times.
Diploma (3 years) holders are also eligible to apply.
