UPSC CSE IAS Result - Civil Services Preliminary Exam Result 2016

Civil Service Exam (CSE) is conducted by The Union Public Service Commission. Civil Service exam was common for both the candidates who applied for Civil Services Examination and Forest Service  Examination. Candidates are filtered through this exam that they are eligible to give the Civil Service Main Examinaton and Forest Service Main Exam. UPSC CSE Result 2016 is going to out soon. Those who qualify this exam can only go to next level that is Civil Services Main Examination 2016. The Application began from 27/04/16 and the last date to apply online was 27/05/2016. The candidates could pay fee till the the last date to apply online for the examination. The exam will be in two parts. 

UPSC CSE Result 2016 :- 

Don't panic stay relaxed. As we told you that the examination is in two parts . The Pattern will be Paper I and Paper II. Paper I will be of General Studies and the Paper II will be of Aptitude Test (CSAT).

The Duration of the paper will be 2 Hours each. There will be 100 Questions from Paper I

and 80 Questions from Paper II. Paper I that is General Studies will be count for the Civil Service Main Examination but the Paper II is not counted for the Main Examination.

Civil Services Preliminary Exam Result 2016 :-

The 2nd Test Paper is also called as CSAT , Aptitude Test is a famous exam. It was introduced in 2011. This test was introduced to select those Civil Servants who have not only the knowledge but also the aptitude for reasoning. It was opposed by many people in the starting because everyone was not happy with this system. So somewhere in 2015 it was the condition now that everyone have to take 33% or 66 Marks in this exam for qualifying for the Main CSE. The civil service paper is based on 2 stages, 1st is that the candidate must qualify in this exam and the 2nd Stage is the candidates who qualified in the 1st stage , have to give a main written exam and the qualification can be checked by UPSC ,after this written paper the candidates who passed this paper attends interviews and selected for various posts.

IAS Result 2016 :-

This exam is just for screening. Through this paper commission checks and filters the candidates who are more suitable for the positions. Only 33% marks are added for the Main Exam. This paper is not the final exam. After passing this paper candidates have to write for Main Exam that is on 3rd December, 2016 . After the result the merit list will come out and the interview will take place for the qualified candidates. The number of qualified candidates will be approximate about twelve or thirteen times the total number of vacancies for various posts. 

IAS Civil Services Exam Result 2016 :- 

Those who are eagerly waiting for the result can download or see his/her result from the official site of UPSC. As we have told you many things about the pattern and the Papers of Civil Service Exam. The one thing that is important for the candidates is that the Paper II or CSAT Aptitude Test is going to be the qualifying paper or exam for the Main paper that is in the month of December. The Question Paper I and II contains multiple choice and objective type questions and we have already told you that the time limit is 2 Hours. The Candidates have to do all the paper and the questions within 2 Hours. This 2 Hour limit is for both the papers. Paper I will contain 100 questions and Paper II will contain 80 questions. Each paper, Paper I & Paper II, will be of 200 Marks.

A new system has made for the candidates, now the Result is provided in the form of PDF file. Candidates have to download this PDF file and check his/her name in the list is there is his/her name in the list, the candidate is pass if there is no name of his/her it means the candidate is not qualified for the interview. So here are the steps for checking the result :-

Step 1 - Candidates, go to the official site of UPSC that is www.upsc.gov.in , check for Preliminary Exam Result 2016 , click on it.

Step 2 - After clicking on the result link a PDF file will start to download , download it and check your roll number in the list

Step 3 - If you find your name in the list , it means that you are pass. Save the list for further uses

Candidates can save their result and can also download it from the official site of UPSC. UPSC has now changed its result publication method. Now it shows a PDF file where all the roll no. is available of passing candidates. Candidates whose name is in the list  can go for the interview. He/She will be selected for various posts offfered.
