The Combined Medical Services Exam (CMS) was conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on the 12 June 2016. Many candidate apply for the examination for the Indian Medical Services. The exam was conducted by UPSC for the recruitment as Medical Officers in various Organization such as Indian Ordnance Factories, Indian Railway and Government of India. The Union Public Commission released the notification for the vacant 1009 posts for the Assistant Divisional Medical Officer, Junior scale posts in Central Health Services, Assistant edical Officer and General Duty Medical Officer Gr. 11 vacancies. Exam Result will be announced very soon by the Union Public Commission. The notification of the exam usually released in the month of march and examination was conducted by the Union Pubic Commission on the 12 June 2016. UPSC Combined Medical Services Exam Result 2016:-
All the candidate must have their originals certificates. All the candidates have their qualification certificates which are recognized by the Indian government. After qualify the exam candidates have to cleared the other selection round. The exam consists of two papers. The first exam contain General Ability 30 questions, General medicine 70 questions, Paediatrics 20 questions. The paper consist of 500 marks. The time duration of the exam is 2 hour. You have to take the written examination in two paper each carry 250 marks. This is the objective multiple choice questions conducted as computer based mode. The other second paper contain Surgery 40 questions, Gynaecology and Obstetrics contain 40 question, preventive and social medicine contain 40 question. The second exam is for 120 marks. The time duration for the exam is 2 hour. There are negative marking of 1/3 marks of each incorrect answer.

- Assistant Medical Officer ( Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services)= 46 posts
- Junior Scale posts ( Central Health Service)=250 posts
- General Duty Medical Officer Gr-II east Delhi municipal corporation=97 posts
- General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi municipal council=16 posts

For the examination candidate must be either a citizen of India, or a subject of Bhutan or a subject of Nepal, or a Tibetan refugee who was permanently settled in India before 1 January 1961. A person who was migrated from the pakistan, Burma, Shrilanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, The united republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam was permanently settled in India before 1962.
