Directorate General Border Security Force (Communication & IT Directorate) had invited 622 Posts for ASI and HC where ASI means Assistant Sub Inspector and HC means Head Constable. The Selection Process is in 2 phases. In the First process there is two part and in the first part there is written exam. The candidates who passed in OMR Test gave the written test for Descriptive Test and the candidates are waiting for ASI Written Test Result 2016 and Head Constable (HC) Result 2016.

BSF Result 2016 :-
If you too is waiting for the result then you have to wait some more time as the result is not announced or released on the official site. If the official Site publish the ASI Result 2016 and Head Constable (HC) Written Test Result 2016. The examination process is in 2 Phases.
Phase 1 :- Written Examination
(i) OMR Based Screening test (Objective Type) :- This was the objective type test. In this exam there was 100 questions of 200 marks. There was 5 sections according to the subjects, subjects were Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English & GK. The candidates
had to take 38% marks and this was for those candidates who belonged to General and OBC Category and those who belonged to SC/ST had to take 33% out of 200 Marks. This was the process for Test.
(ii) Descriptive Test :- This was for those candidates who had qualified in test. Those who applied for ASI/RM gave 200 marks exam in which the 12th/Diploma Level questions were present and those who applied for HC/RO gave 100 marks test and 100 marks Dictation Test.
Phase 2 :- Physical Standard and Physical Efficiency Test
(a) Physical Standard/ Measurement - Height, Chest etc.
(b) Physical Efficiency Test :- Male candidates have to cover 1.6 km in 6.5 minutes and for female it is 800 Meter in 04 Minutes. Long Jump for male is 3.65 meter in o3 chances and 09 feet in 03 chances.
That's the process of the exam. Those candidate who will qualify the Descriptive Exam will go for the 2nd Phase and to do so they have to pass in the written exam.
ASI Radio Mechanic (RM) Written Test Result 2016 :-
We have told you all the important things about the exam. A huge number of candidates appeared in the Examination Hall. They were the people who qualified theTest and gave the Descriptive test or we can say the written exam because the OMR Screening Test was objective type. The board is going to release the result very soon. Once the result is out, it will be decided that who is going to take part in the 2nd Phase and that is Physical Standard and Physical Efficiency test. Here will be the test of physical by male and female candidates.
