When you make an audio FaceTime call, the other person's phone ring exactly as you make a normal phone call. All the ususal buttons and options are available.

Once you accept the call, It's just like being on normal phone call, You have the mute, speaker, FaceTime and contacts options. But haven't keypad button and merge call button. You can't mix up FaceTime audio call with another FaceTime call and with normal phone call. If normal phone call comes in then you'll be offered the chance to take it but.....one thing you have to do is to hang up on FaceTime.
