How to Set Different Wallpapers for Multiple Monitors in Windows 10

Windows 10 has a nice little multi-monitor task bar setup and support for multiple virtual desktops, It's not good to choose separate wallpapers for the separate monitors. You can set different wallpapers on different monitors without the help of any third party software.

Set Different Wallpapers for Multiple Monitors in Windows 10

Here are the few steps to set-up different wallpapers on different monitors in windows 10:
1. Save the different wallpapers in the same folder which you want to use. This can be any folder and even any desktop.

2. Hold down the CTRL key and click the different wallpapers images you want to see as a wallpaper on your monitors, If you have two monitors then choose two different wallpapers and if you have three monitors then choose three different wallpapers & so on...
3. After completing the selection of wallpapers, just right click on the wallpapers and then choose as desktop background.
4. You should see different wallpapers on different screen of monitors. If you want to switch the wallpaper on any specific monitor, right click on the desktop and select next desktop background. By selecting this you'll see another different wallpaper on the screen of your monitor.
Note: If you don't see different wallpapers on different monitors and if yo see different wallpapers but they are cycling through pictures then you have need to change your wallpaper settings.
To change settings, Open the run command by right clicking on the start icon and select run. Then type control/name Microsoft. Personalization/page pagewallpaper.
This will open the desktop background window in the control panel, though you can't get to this window directly from the control panel.
You want to show different images on your different monitors, be sure that the picture position is set to Fill, fit, center or stretch. If it's set to span or tile, you'll see only one image.
If you want to stop your wallpaper from cycling through pictures, click on clear button at the top of the window. This will unselect all the wallpapers.

You can also set the wallpapers for each monitor. Simply find pictures you want to use right click on it then select it for monitor 1.
