You think that Windows 10 comes with already installed Microsoft Edge, you would be able to ditch Internet Explorer. But you would be wrong. Because window 10 comes with preinstalled Internet Explorer 11 and you can't uninstall it.
But you can turn it off. This control panel hack works in previous versions of windows. Here is how to delete/remove Internet Explorer from windows permanently with few simple steps:
1. Right click on the Start Menu icon and click on the control panel to open control panel settings.
2. If your control panel is in category view, go to programs => programs & features. If your control panel is in large icons and small icons view, go to programs & features.
3. On the left side of the Programs & Features window, you will see a link with a blue and yellow shield next to it that says turn windows features on or off. Click on this link to open Windows Fetures window.
4. In the windows features window, find the internet explorer 11 and uncheck the box next to it. This will pop-up a warning window which will notify you that after turning off the internet explorer 11 might affect other Windows feature and programs. Click yes to continue then click ok.
5. Once Internet Explorer 11 turns off by the windows, You'll be asked for reboot your system. You can anything you want either "restart" or "don't restart". You'll see the change after restart the system in future.
