Remove Personal Information From Photos in Windows 10
There is another world to your advanced photographs than the eye. Inserted in every file is EIF data, metadata, that contains info on your camera's make, the time & date of the picture was clicked, and you clicked pictures with geotagging enabled featured camera.You can remove this sensitive information in wondow 10 with just few steps. You can also turn off geotagging.
1. Open the folder in which photos are stored. You want to delete metadata, Right click on the picture and click on properties.
2. In the property dialogue box, click on the details tab to see the picture's metadata. At the botton of the dialogue box, click remove properties and personal information of photo.
3. If you want to remove the meta data directly from this file, select remove the following properties from this file and select all of the property values which you want to remove. Click ok to remove data.
4. If you want to keep a copy of the file and select create copy with all properties removed. This will create a copy of the file with metadata you had removed. But still you have a original metadata-filled file.
5. To remove the metadata of window 10 is not perfect and it may not be able to delete personal information from your photos. If you are facing problem to remove the metadata, you will need to try a third party software like Batch Purifier Lite to remove it.
