There is a great & coolest feature in android N, you can direct rply to any message & emails from the notification panel/bar. Here is the trick how to apply this feature on its earlier version of android Lollipop and Marshmallow.
If you want this feature in your lollipop or marshmallow version, first you need to download & install the "free quick reply" application from google play store. Launch the app, accept the licence agreement then tap on "Please Activate QuickReply"
Under the notification access slide on the toggle next to quick reply to give it access to your notifications. You'll be asked before perform whether you are sure you want to do that.
Open quick reply app and open settings. You'll see that a lot of restrictions are available here. They don't work in Pro version of the app. tap on app settings, then unselect any app you don't want to be connected with quick reply.
Whenever you get a message, email etc...via supported app, You will find some new options for reply, direct and read. Tap on reply, write your response and tap on the send button without opening the app.
Supported apps include whatsapp, telegram, skype, wechat, Line, hangouts etc....these all applications supports read feature too. It kept showing all the past notifications each time we got a new one. It's a pretty app for use.
