Action Center is new in Windows 10. A unified place of all system notifications and quick access to many programs settings. It appears when press of an icon in the taskbar, it is placed in slide out panel. Its is nice feature for windows and it's plenty customizable. Here's a quick overview of your options.

Silent a Particular Notification
