How to Uninstall Programs and Applications in Windows 10

After using the window 10 for some days, it becomes clear that Microsoft is slowly moving as many former Control Panel functions as possible to the new settings application. Here is how the Control Panel is to windows that must be a big job.

Because of this switch, We can expect to see the not duplicated functionality in many region of the windows 10. One example of this is how you uninstall modern desktop programs in the new operating system.

Uninstall Programs and Application

In windows 8.1, you uninstall desktop programs the modern way by heading to the Control Panel. You can still do the same in windows 10, but there are also two new methods. One in the Start Menu and one in the new settings application.
Here's how it works.

The easy way to get rid of any desktop program or windows store application in windows 10 is to head to start menu. This process is same as you would uninstall store applications from the windows 8.1 start screen.

Once the start menu is open, all you need to do is find the program you want to get rid of in the list of all applications or more readily available live tiles. Now right click on it and select the uninstall program from the menu of context and follow any of the appeared install wizards.

That was easy, and now works for modern programs of desktop as well as Store applications, unlike in Windows 8.

Managing Applications

If you want more data before the uninstalling, such as when a specific program was installed or how big it is, try the settings application.

To get started click on the Start => settings => System => Apps and features. Now give the app a little time to show your complete list of desktop programs and stored applications.

Once your list is ready it will be sorted by application size, which totally sucks when you are trying to uninstall an application. Hit the sort by size drop down menu and select sort by name.

Now, just Scroll down the list and find the program or application you want to uninstall from the your system. You could search through your application to uninstall. Once you searched your application you want to uninstall from the system, just single click on its name and you'll see a uninstall button, you'll get a pop-up saying that the as you delete this program you data will also be deleted from the system. Now click on the uninstall button after clicking on this button, you program and application will be deleted from your system.

If you are really loyal to using the control panel for uninstalls, that still woks too, but only for modern desktop programs.

Here you can see the method to do so in the video :-
